  • Office of the Registrar General before this is one unit under the Division of Legal Affairs, the Prime Minister. On May 2, 1996 the Government has decided that the Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia being a department under the Prime Minister. After that beginning July 1, 1996, the Office of the Registrar General has been operating as a department under the Prime Minister.
     
  • Chief Registrar's Office headed by the Chief Registrar is responsible to administer the courts in Malaysia. The structure of the courts in Malaysia is divided into four (4) of the Federal Court, Court of Appeal, the High Court and Subordinate Courts including the Sessions Court, Magistrate Court and Juvenile Court. In 1994 a mahkamahlagi established the Special Court handles cases melibatkanRaja-Malay Rulers. The Court is not included in the structure of the court, but his administration was placed under the Office of the Registrar General.
