ADVERTISEMENT OF VACANCY

HIGH COURT JUDGE OF MALAYA, SABAH AND SARAWAK

1. The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) hereby invites suitably qualified persons under Article 123 of the Federal Constitution to apply for the position of High Court Judge.
   

2. Applicants who are qualified are required to fill up the Curriculum Vitae Form provided.
   

3. Successful candidates will be offered a remuneration package including allowances as follows:

   			RM
   a.	Salary (monthly)		17,754.76
   b.	Allowances (monthly)
   	i.	Entertainment Allowance	5,000.00
   	ii.	Accommodation	3,000.00
   	iii.	Domestic Help	2,000.00
   	iv.	Special Judicial Allowance	6,000.00
   c.	Other allowances and benefits as provided for under Schedule 1 and 2 sub-section 2(1) Judges’ Remuneration Act 1971 [Act 45]

   
   
4. Closing date for applications: 31 July 2009.
   
   
5. Priority will be given to Legal Practitioners who have more than 25 years of experience in the field of litigation.
