Registrar's Office of the High Court of Malaya

The Registrars Office of the High Court of Malaya is responsible for the administration all High Court of Malaya. It is headed by the Registrar of the High Court of Malaya and assisted by the Deputy Registrar and Senior Assistant Registrar. 

 

Job functions:

 

Responsible for carrying out instructions given by The Right Honourable Chief Judge of Malaya, Managing Judges, and Chief Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia. 

Responsible for the performance of general administration and judicial administration in all the High Court of Malaya in Peninsular Malaysia to ensure a good, efficient, fast, fair, and just delivery system. 

To prepare and issue the practice direction and circular of the Registrar of Malaya High Court in accordance with current requirements. 

To supervise the matters related with the letter of administration, enforcement, bankruptcy, auction, and power of attorney

To monitor the Deputy Registrar and Senior Assistant Registrar of the High Court of Malaya in Peninsular Malaysia. 

To regulate the current logistics, assets, and inventory requirements of the Registrar's Office of the High Court of Malaya and all the High Court of Malaya in Peninsular Malaysia. 

To monitor cases and statistics of all the High Court of Malaya in Peninsular Malaysia. 

To supervise the intemal and external security of the Registrar's Office of the High Court of Malaya and the High Court of Malaya in Peninsular Malaysia. 

To regulate the management and administration of the Certificate of Practice Unit. 

To manage delivery of the court documents outside of the court's jurisdiction abroad and into Malaysia.

To manage the registration of orders with respect to the maintenance from the reciprocal countries pursuant to section 3 of the Maintenance Order Act (Enforcement Facility) 1949. 

To deal with the applications for foreign interpreter services for criminal cases for the High Court of Malaya in Peninsular Malaysia.
