Integrity Unit
INTRODUCTION
Integrity Unit, the Office of Chief Registrar, Federal Court Malaysia is established pursuant to the government’s decision to establish Integrity Unit as a focal point to manage issues in relation to integrity in all government department as stated in Service Circular No. 6 of 2013 (SC6/2013) ‘Establishment of Integrity Unit at all Public Agencies’ with effect from 1 August 2013.
This Unit is led by a Unit Head and assisted by an Administrative & Diplomatic Officer and a senior assistant Registrar. This Unit is directly under the supervision of the Chief Registrar of Federal Court Malaysia.
ROLE AND FUNCTION INTEGRITY UNIT
Governance
- Ensuring good governance is implemented.
Integrity Enhancement
- Ensuring acculturation, institutionalization, and implementation of integrity within the organization.
Detection And Verification
- To detect and verify complaints of criminal misconduct and violations of the code of conduct as well as organizational ethics by ensuring appropriate actions are taken; and
- To report criminal misconduct to the relevant law enforcement agencies.
Complaint Management
- To receive and act upon all complaints/information of crimes and misconduct in the organization.
Compliance
- To ensure compliance with laws and regulations in force.
Disciplinary
- As secretariat for the Disciplinary Board.
